Forensic evaluations focus on the nexus between psychology and the legal system and include a thorough clinical interview, comprehensive review of available records, collateral data collection, and psychological testing. Dr. Prince provides forensic psychological services related to both civil and criminal cases involving adults and juveniles. Areas of expertise include, but are not limited to:

• Sexual risk assessment
• Violence risk assessment
• Competency to stand trial
• Criminal responsibility
• Pre-sentence/Pre-dispositional evaluation
• Malingering (i.e., feigning) assessment

The term "disability" is a legal, rather than a psychological or a medical term. A functional psychological evaluation, however, can assist in clarifying if an individual's mental health has been affected by an event that arose from and occurred during the course of employment. An evaluation will clarify mental health diagnosis and assess how the individual’s functional abilities relate to the demands of their occupation.
